Advanced Radiation Therapy

Our department houses two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators with HD MLC, a Halcyon system for fast treatments, and a dedicated Brachytherapy suite with HDR afterloader. We offer 4DCT simulation, respiratory gating, and real-time tumor tracking.

Comprehensive Imaging

We have a Siemens Biograph Vision PET-CT with 4D capabilities, a 3 Tesla MRI with spectroscopy, digital mammography with tomosynthesis, and an interventional radiology suite for image-guided biopsies and procedures.

Medical Oncology Daycare

A spacious, well-ventilated daycare with 30 recliners, individual entertainment systems, and dedicated nurses. We have an onsite pharmacy that prepares chemotherapy under sterile conditions and provides oral targeted drugs.

Bone Marrow Transplant Unit

A JACIE accredited unit with 8 HEPA-filtered positive pressure rooms, dedicated apheresis machine, and a fully equipped cryopreservation lab. We perform both autologous and allogeneic transplants for adults and children.

Clinical Trials & Research

The V.L.Mutha Cancer Center is an active participant in international and national clinical trials (Phase I-IV). Our research division collaborates with institutions like Tata Memorial Centre, AIIMS, and international bodies such as ASCO and ESMO.

Current areas of research include biomarker discovery, immunotherapy resistance, radiation sensitizers, and quality-of-life studies. We have published over 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals in the last decade.
